Anna Wypych is a polish artist born in Gdynia, Poland in 1986. Anna studied at Academy of Art in Gdansk, Poland and earned her master’s degree in 2011. She now lives and works in Sopot, Poland.
Anna Wypych paints realistic portraits in the traditional oil technique. Her art contains elements of hyperrealism, surrealism and pure imaginative. Characteristic of her are philosophical texts, which always complements her works. Artist concentrates on the human condition and her powerful women portraits show a variety of inner strength which can be found in people seen from the positive point of view.
Anna Wypych winner of Best of Show and Pioneer in Realism awards at the 2020 International Guild of Realism and Purchase Award „14th International ARC Salon” Art Renewal Center 2019. Her paintings are in permanent collections of the European Museum of Modern Art, Barcelona in Spain, the National Museum in Gdansk, Museum of City Gdansk, Museum of city Gdynia, Poland. She presented her works at many juried exhibitions including the 14th and 11th International Art Renewal Canter Annual Salon presented, among others, at Sotheby’s in New York, „BP Portrait Award 2014”, National Portrait Gallery, London; „Modportrait 2014, 2016 and 2018 Foundation Bantierra and IAACC Pablo Serano Zaragoza; and MEAM, Barcelona. Her painting was on the cover of International Artist (12/2020) and her paintings have been published in such magazines as American Art Collector, PoetsArtists, Revista Ophelia, Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine, The Guide Artists, Klassik Magazine, Hyperrealism Magazine, Artysta i Sztuka. The Paintings of Anna Wypych are included in prestigious collections such as The Bennett Collection, The Basil Alkazzi & Halima Nalecz Purchase Foundation, Marie Marek Pienkowski Foundation, Art Foundation of Ergo Hestia group. She has presented her work in galleries and museums in Europe and the USA. She lives and works in Gdynia, Poland.
