Mary Neal Richardson (1859-1937) was American painter known for Portrait, figure and landscape painting. Daughter of Franklin and Mary Pathena Neal Richardson, was born in Mt. Vernon, Maine, and later lived in Canton, Maine. She came to Canton at the age of six and was later a schoolteacher.
Mary Neal Richardson got a scholarship to study art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, among other places; exhibited at the Paris Salon, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Portland Society of Arts, etc., and was noted in the theosophy movement.
