kari lilt is a surrealist watercolour artist from Sydney, Australia.
"I like to create my own reality through playful surrealist watercolour portraits. I am fascinated by the wondrous emotions of human faces, and find great joy in manipulating them with different textures, materials, and concepts.

All of my paintings are driven by a single philosophical idea: that we create our own realities. Art is invariably the most playful and amazing expression of reality creation.
While I've exhibited my work in modest and small galleries around Sydney, I primarily share my work online through social media. I find the interaction between audience and artwork helps me develop and refine my purpose — to help see the whimsical side of life."
