Arsen Kurbanov (Арсен Курбанов) is a contemporary Figurative Russian Painter, was born in 1969 in Makhachkala, Russia in 1969.

Arsen graduated in 1994 with honors from (Jamal Dagestan Art College), then he got approved to study at the Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Repin St. Petersburg State. Now Arsen is working as Artist and in the same time he teaches easel painting at the same Academy.

Arsen inspiration is works of old masters specially the religious and the historical paintings, is his paintings we can see this inspiration reflected on his works combiened with his modern touch to finally brings his astonishing masterpieces.
