Self-taught oil painter June Stratton is known for representational figurative paintings that incorporate the female figure with natural landscapes. June Stratton was born in Honolulu Hawaii in 1959. In 2016 she began adding silver leaf which reflects the ambient light allowing her artwork to alter color depending the direction it is viewed from.
Her work is collected by art collectors and art galleries internationally, including recent solo shows with Robert Lange Studios, Charleston, SC and Distinction Gallery, Escondido, CA. Collections include Texaco Incorporated, US Department of State, Bank of America, The Mayo Clinic and the St Regis Hotel.
