Francisco Pons Arnau(Valencia, 1886-Madrid, 1955) was a Spanish painter, one of the most outstanding disciples of the painter Joaquín Sorolla. He also married María Sorolla, one of his teacher's daughters.
Pons' work is remarkably broad, its theme being very varied: landscapes, flowers and portraits, in which he knew how to perfectly capture the psychology of the portrayed character, having to mention his interest and his beauty. In his accomplishments there are different influences of art Nouveau.
