Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, member of the Association of Artists, an honorary member of the Russian Imperial Academy of Arts, winner of the prestigious Russian award "Man of the Millennium" Sakit Mammadov - became the first Azerbaijani artist who received the title of academician EANS (European Academy of Natural Sciences) for his contribution to world culture and visual arts. He was awarded the Medal of the Order's Leonardo da Vinci, as well as the Order of "Honor of Europe."
