British painter Paul Freeman studied at Cardiff College of Art, Stourbridge College of Art and the Central London Photographic School. He then worked at the British Museum (Natural History) as Photographer and began to paint professionally in 1986.
He was a member of the Cambridge Drawing Society and has shown regularly with the Royal Society of Marine Artists (Yachting World magazine commissioned him to provide two prizes for the Rolex/Swan European Regatta) and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. Work centres on the Figure, predominently Dance and the Nude but now includes Landscape/Seascape.
He has had Shows at the Royal Exchange Gallery in Cork St. and the Tryon Gallery in St.James's, London and work is held in International and Corporate collections. He now shows mainly at Mandell's Gallery in Norwich.
