Born in Barcelona (Spain) in 1966, Alfredo Palmero hails from a lineage of artists that began with his grandfather, Maestro Palmero. Palmero is famous for his realistic, sometimes part-surreal paintings of women -- harlequins in particular. His artistic influences include Picasso, Velazquez and Klee.
